2016 is the year of the 2-in-1 convertible laptop. These super-flexible devices, also called tablet PCs, combine the practicality of a laptop with a proper keyboard and the fun-factor of a touchscreen tablet. What’s more, you can twist and turn them into any position in between such as tent-mode!
I have been using my new [amazon asin=B015P3SKHQ&asin[uk]=B018FSWW72&text=Dell Inspiron 13-7359 7000 Series 2-in-1&title=Dell Inspiron 13-7359 7000 Series 2-in-1] convertible laptop for more than 3 months, and I am impressed. Its tiny footprint and super-slim profile of 19.41mm (0.75″) means that I have been able to use it on the smallest airline tables with absolutely no issues. 7 hours plus battery life doesn’t hurt either! It weighs only 1.66kg (3.66 lbs) which makes it a breeze to carry and use on the move.
So I thought I would take a look at the latest 2-in-1 convertible laptops hitting the market this Spring. These laptops are also called 2-in-1 tablet laptops but be aware that not all laptops that are marketed as 2-in-1s can actually fold 350 degrees to go into tablet mode.
